Bobby,

When has the "mass" media ever addressed real issues? They either serve
their own agendas or take the white bread/Velveeta approach to journalism.
What does it matter, anyway? National (US) politics has gotten so far
distant from the "man on the street" that the candidates "stand" on issues
usually has little bearing on what will happen after the election.

Money talks!

Shakespeare said it best: "Much ado about nothing." As usual, the media
is trivializing this election. playing up off hand remarks by the
candidates, etc. When will we get to the real issues?
