Thanks Carrie,

I have contacted the CP Association - no help for either physio (two
year waiting list) or work, they told me to use the private employment
agencies like Rocky Bay (the one I had the problems with). I used to
work in the CES before the Liberals got in, and have quite a few
contacts who work in Centrelink, so have access to a lot of `inside
info', no one's come up with anything yet! My writing workshop
teacher has given me a few hours casual work here and there doing
admin. type stuff for her, but she is a home business so it's only
casual, but better than nothing. Also keeping a look out for work via
Uni, but most things are too many hours, and until I can access a
proper swimming pool where I can do laps (not allowed to do laps in
hydrotherapy pool) then, I'm stuck with an irritatingly high level of
fatigue. There are no accessible pools that are near train stations
(don't have arm strength to hang on in buses) within half an hour of
me (if I travel any further, it's too tiring). So I've requested
regular financial assistance from my parents (if they can't support me
emotionally - which I'd prefer - then they can help out financially,
beleive me they can afford it) so I can afford to take taxis to an
accessible swimming pool, and get other things like a personal safety
alarm for home etc. All necessary things for my safety and health,
but they are dragging their feet (HAH!! See the irony!!!) about it.

So it's all just a case of waiting till this big mess sorts itself
out. Till then, beleive me, I plan on resting! <grin> Well trying
to, I have to work really hard at relaxing.....

Thanks for your thought, Carrie.

    Hi Rayna,
Hang in there kid - you have been through a
rough patch but do keep perservering if possible.

Maybe having sometime off Uni will give you some rest
& there must be some work for you to do, you need
to tap into the right source.

What about the contacting the CerebraL Palsy
Assoc. of W.A. If they can't help you, they might
be able to suggest something which you have not
    thought of.

    Best Wishes,
    Carrie.
