Anthony,

The injections to a pump you're talking about may be a Baclofen pump.
In Janet's doctor's office, they use a topical anesthetic that numbs the
skin on her abdomen before her pump gets refilled, so it's not a big
deal.  Botox might be a different matter.  I'll defer to Ken and others
with Botox experience on that.
