it seems like what Lisa is trying to do is what is called article marketing. it is the same thing I am doing with my submit your articles project.
I think she should look at writing an article about the disease that took her child for at least one of the article databases, and then link from that article to a website where people can get more info or order her book. Nobody gets paid for their articles, but we do it to increase traffic to our websites. In july, I experienced a big jump in traffic. last time I checked, I had 3,200 websites had accepted my articles.
The site does exist kat, I just went there.

However, Lisa, I do think there is a link on Oprah's site where you can tell them why you think you should be a guest on her show.

Thanks,
Tamar

Subject: Re: My daughter's Cerebral Palsy could have been prevented

Your site does not exist, and I consider this spam. I see no relation
with "How to Get Thin and Famous" and CP, let alone CMV (which is a
very common virus and is thought to have a role in cardiovascular
problems such as high blood pressure and atherosclerosis. As of now,
there is no known cause for CP in spite of many many years of
reasearch, and it seems to be the most prevalent in premature babies
(who are more susceptible to viruses and infections anyway).

If you are indeed serious about this, I think it'd be best if you
approached this from another angle.

Sincerely,
Kat
