Barbara Lee is the one who took the courageous stand on the hill way back
when Bush wanted to go fight Afghanistan, and Lee, I think was the only one with
enough guts to oppose bombing the Afghans in order to try to get bin laden.
She is from my district and is African American. She received death threats for
her stance against the war, notably, not from those in this district.  Lee
has - among those who bothered to vote, an approval rating of 89 percent.
