I asked my neuro that and he said, no, as my CP doesn't affect my neck, only my legs.  My family has a tendency for spinal problems and arthritis of the spine, so he thought I may have a genetic tendency for it.  Also, the long hours at the computer and reading may have had something to do with it, too.
