Hi KJ,
The study is being done by rancho Los Amigas in Los Angeles. Don't know when
it will be published.
yes, we seem to get worse as we age. While some is unavoidable, we can hold
it off if we remain active or do some water therapy, or many types of body
work, Feldenkrais, yoga, massage, Rolfing, acupuncture / acupresure.
as a matter of fact, I just began taking a yoga class for people with
disabilities. It was wonderful! I felt blood flowing in places that I had
forgotten blood was supposed to flow! It is in a newly renovated building in
my neighborhood, and is just beautiful! They have many aides to help us with
the poses / movements, and lots of pillows. each person works at their own
pace. I have a feeling that if I keep going there, my low back pain will be
greatly relieved, and then maybe my legs won't hurt so much when I try to
walk. I'll keep you posted.
Love,
Mag
