Do you have an "electronic" copy of 'Ms. Utah's' text w/bibliography?  You
might want to search in depth first.  She claims the theories as her own?
You might try to find an attorney who specializes in copyright law
(especially "intellectual property") to write the publisher/author a letter
on his/her letterhead to show her references and/or supporting research data
for the concepts.  Have you notified Ms. DeLoach?

I'm sure you know that you own "copyright" of text as soon as the words go
on paper.  The hard part is proving that you were the progenitors of the
theories.  If you can get a librarian to do an OCLC subject search, you will
have an independent audit trail of your published work.

BTW, if you don't mind passing the info along, what is the name of the
"researcher" in Utah?

Hi Every one,

       This is my 1st email using my new Gateway with aol 8.0. It is trey
cool as Kat would say. I just had a unnerving experience. I went by my
classmates publishing hous to acquire some texts(free, of course) and one is
a recent text on psychocial aspects of disability. Charlene DeLoach and
mysellf had a text in this area which came out in 1981 and had some heavy
theoretical concepts which never did catch on, or so we thought. This new
text by this chick out in Utah uses alot of our concepts and I can't find
where she references us!!

       What should I do?
