Thankyou Bobby and Mag for your kind words. I keep thinking that I've done all
the grieving, but then I walk past the patch of ground in the garden where I
found her convulsing and the tears start all over again. Like you, Bobby, I
have never cried this much over the loss of a friend or family member. Something
about animals.... that unconditional, trusting, loyal love that you come to
depend on.. Coming home to an excited, appreciative dog was one of my favourite
things in life. She is now buried in the sunniest part of the garden, and I've
planted natives and put a deck chair out there, and it's a beautiful peaceful
place to sit and remember all the cheeky and cute things she got up to. Stay
tuned for a photo of her and I on CPAdults.......
