the man who owed me money from wrecking my house contacted me today and wants to arrange for paying me with his real estate as collateral. 
i only told him I'd check with my lawyer. 

Judy said "why do you think he'll pay now when he did not back when he was in the house?"

if i have a mortgage on his real estate and he does not pay i could foreclose. 

from what i have heard about sheriff's sales this is a better chance of getting all my money than the county's sale would be. 

I'll see my lawyer Monday afternoon after i finish with my specialist doctor appointment.
