Hi guys,

A slightly dramatic situation today. I live in a block of flats that are
situated down a slight slope from the road. My living room window
faces out onto the road. I have a small patio outside the window,
with a vine covered lattice frame that screens me off from the road. I came
home today and found the frame had been knocked down. Apparently my
next door neighbour's friend had parked her car on top of the slope,
and hadn't put the handbrake on properly. The car had rolled down the
slope, over the lattice, and..... THROUGH MY WINDOW!!!! Luckily my
neigbour and his friend are very responsible people, they had the
window fixed before I had arrived home, kept an eye out for me to get
back so they could tell me what happened, came in and vacumned the
carpet of glass shards and pulled down the remainder of the lattice.
They are getting someone round in the next couple of days to fix the
lattice.
But OMG I am so glad I wasn't at home at the time. I park the scooter
alongside that very window, and my computer desk is set up alongside
it. There could have been a VERY nasty accident!!!

And.... my messages weren't coming through to my mail client for the
last 24 hours, so they stacked up and when the whole thing started
working again I had over a hundred messages come through, ARRRRG!

I'm off to have a nap!
