Oh, many hugs to Judy. It is so stressful when these things happen to kids
we work with.

Subject: a shot that killed.

my wife, judy, works with kids that are profoundly mentally retarded. many
of these kids have cp, were shaken babies, etc. she told me last knight that
two of their kids had died over the spring break. one had had a surgery to
do something to a shunt and had been in a coma for quite some time.
the other had been given a shot of something to relax her muscles. judy
said that both the teachers and the parapros and nurse noticed she was not
the same and had talked to the grandmother about it. could not find out what
drug was given her. anyway she had a siezure and went into cardiac arrest
and they could not bring her out of it.
i can only speculate on what the doctors gave her to relax the cp stressed
muscles, but, i'd really like to know. judy said she seemed to be in a daze.
i don't know. botheres me terribly.
