I think it was inadvertent revenge, he sliced open my leg with a spade
a year or two previously, I had stitches under a *local* anasthetic
(like I didn't already have a reason to hate Dr's), idiot dr didn't
clean the wound properly and it got infected, which necessitated an op
under a general anasthetic.  We were weeding the garden and got into
an argument, I tossed my trowel at him, it bounced off his gumboots
(mine actually but he was wearing them, little s-d), and he HURLED his
spade at me, I was only wearing sneakers and couldn't dodge the spade,
so it went straight into my leg.  So, trip to hospital, lots of pain.
I was only about 8 or 9 and yelled the place down.  So I think we are
quits now!
