Hi All,

Deri and Lin have an impeccable sense of timing. If they had made plans to
come to the US one day later, their trip would have been spoiled. As it
was,
our thoughts were understandably drawn toward the events of Sept.11.

We had a little get together with some of my neighbors and friends on the
evening of the 11th. About half the guest list was missing, unfortunately,
due to our close proximity to DC. Even so, our gathering was about eight to
ten people strong. Can you remember the number Deri? I'm only guessing.

Everyone fell in love with our charming guests, and what's not to love?
Even
my cat, Jubal, developed his own little bond with Deri. I was not able to
do
everything for them that I wanted, but Deri and Lin are gracious, kind, and
resourceful people. They made a good time for themselves when I couldn't do
things for them.

Even though they've gone back home, people are still asking about them. The
Deri and Lin Show made quite a hit here. I miss them now that they are
gone.
