The Interagency Disability Educational Awareness Showcase (IDEAS) Conference
features workshops, discussions, and exhibits highlighting methods to
increase accessibility to information and technology for people with
disabilities.

* The Honorable Jim Jeffords, Senator of Vermont is the keynote speaker for
the Opening Ceremony on October 2nd at 8:30am.
* Exhibit Hall Reception on October 2nd from 4 p.m. - 6 p.m.
* Section 508 Industry Panel on October 3rd from 10:30 a.m. -12 p.m. will be
moderated by Craig Luigart, CIO of Department of Education and feature
industry partners working on Section 508 requirements.

Technology companies nationwide are participating in this year's conference.
Vendors will showcase accessible solutions, assistive technologies,
universal design principles, and service programs, which emphasize Federal
compliance with Section 508.
