A conference for adults with CP will discuss the steps that adults can take
in order to stay out of a nursing. These steps include effective
management of PCA's and things less obvious such as learning how to manage
incontinence. Surprisingly enough, some care givers view incontinence as a
sign that community living is no longer possible for the adult who has
managed to cope with other problems. In other words, incontinence is the
last straw. For more on the conference, go to
www.thecpgroup.org/conferences/Conference2006.htm\
