Hi C-Palsy listers,

December 2, 2000 marks the one year anniversary of Inclusion Daily Express!

What a year it has been!

Barriers broken down . . .
Milestones reached . . .
People taking charge of their lives . . .
Institutions closed . . .
Dreams made reality . . .

To all of you who have encouraged and supported my efforts -- thank you!

Over the last twelve months I have had the distinct honor of writing for
subscribers no less than 248 daily news editions on advocacy, accessibility,
community living, de-institutionalization, assistive technology, employment,
inclusive education, abuse and crimes against people with disabilities,
laws and legislation, self-determination and more.

Also, in that time I have collected and saved 5,155 different news and
information items.

So, what does a fella do with 75 megabytes of disability rights news?

Well, on January 15, 2001 Inclusion Daily Express launches what may
be the first of its kind in our area of interest -- the "2000 Year in
Review" and its related resource directory. This will be a comprehensive,
fully "searchable" on-line review of the news and events from the first year
in the new millennium, PLUS links to related information which will be
updated on an on-going basis.

This is so exciting!

We're talking about hundreds of pages of quotes, news summaries and
related resources, in 16 different subject areas and 75 subcategories.

You can scan through the subjects by going to the website
http://www.InclusionDaily.com
and clicking on the big bold announcement.

The cost of a year's access to the online "Year in Review" is $39.95. A
(much
smaller, less interactive) spiral-bound print version will also be available
for the same price.

Right now I'm offering an "Early Bird Special". Sign up on-line or mail in
your order, post-marked by December 15, 2000 and I'll take $10.00 off each
item you order!

A lot of progress was made this year on the road toward full
community inclusion and self-determination. There continue to be
barriers that must be overcome. During the next year, we'll move a little
bit closer.

And, with on-going support from advocates like those of you on this list
I will continue reporting about it in the coming year.

Thanks again,

Dave Reynolds, Editor
