I've had the same problem since I started lurking. Solution indirect.
Opened a web based email account. Download each posting in separate
box on Outlook Express and Microsoft Outlook. Delete with delight.
Still receive Digest but haven't been able to get open text either-as
you described.
There's another way to get mail directly from Maelstrom, but I need to
look up the method.
Am in a forgetful phase-sigh.

Subject: Technical Difficulties
Hopefully one of you list gurus can help me out with this...
My computer was in for repairs last week, so I had to read my e-mail
using
web based mail. When I received the digests there, they had the title
of
each message, then if you scrolled down, they had the full text of each
message, separated by a bar.
Now that I'm back on my computer, using Outlook Express, I only get a
list
of subjects, which show up as clickable links. You have to click on
each
one for the text of each separate message. I really liked having the
full
text display automatically. It was much faster and easier to read.
Is there some setting I need to change to get my digests to appear the
first
way? I really appreciate the help. Thanks!
~Joy~
