Ken,

  As far as communion goes - in order to recieve communion in the catholic religion you must have gone to confession. She not able to confess, therefore she can't have communion. As to the last rites, they can adminsiter them to the dying on accidents scenes - so no doubt they can do them for her. But they do them for the dying.And I am sure at some point they will.

Judy just heard on radio that Terri Schiavo would not
even be allowed last rites becouse the little bit of
wine and waffer would be technically food and drink.
for you who are of any religious beliefs, you have got
to find this to be appaling. i think this is just
horrible no matter what the position you have on the
feeding tube issue. .
