in the early 1990s when I was a mentor at ucp, one of the tech products that was demonstrated was the cool suit, developed by nasa. One of my teenage mentees tried it for several months, and it enabled her mom to be able to wash her hair a lot easier because she was more relaxed when leaning back into the sink thing.  I do know that it has helped people with MS be able to enjoy going outside in warm weather.  SO< PERHAPS THERE IS SOMETHING TO IT>
