According to the CBC, Latimer will be eligible for full parole in 2011; the
case has been through the Canadian Supreme Court, so a pardon seems like it
would be his only option for full relief.  I don't think any Prime Minister
or provincial leader would want to open up that can of worms, although if
it's not an election year in Canada....
