My dear Friends, Brothers and Sisters,

The past two-some years find me blessed with the company of so many unique
and wonderful people clustered around the matters of Cerebral Palsy. I find
myself in daily acceptance and celebration of the primary disability that
has and does cause me the greatest pain and difficulty of my life. (Other
than the "strangeness" of my intellect, the crank and cragginess of my
personality, and my relationship with my God as I know him/her.)

You have allowed me the great gift of validation and joy in my CP "tribal
identity." I feel myself part of a great ethnic minority which deserves
respect and dignity due, and must demand proper hearing and treatment from
those parts of society from whom we must obtain what is of necessity,
reasonable, right and proper.

Every day I feel less shame about how I appear, though old, frail, and in
recovery of quadriplegia from my a secondary disability, and growing more
determined to change the world to better accommodate my sisters/brothers and
myself from the unexpected ravages of Cerebral Palsy and Aging.

I am beginning to plan and seriously consider committing time, effort, and
funds to achieve a pragmatic and timely results. The awareness and clarity
you have inspired in me has been inspiring and enthralling. I look forward
to continuing with you as matters progress in this endeavor.

Thank you for the enlightenment, support, and love you give.

Yours is Prudent, Slow, and Careful, Activism
