I was on a semi-vampire schedule during the summer. I don't know what
everyone else's gig is, but that would account for my late postings. Next
summer, I'm going to make the vampire schedule official and let everyone know
that I will be sleeping during the days. The daytime heat and humidity here
takes me out fast, and I can accomplish more at night.

Sometimes when I'm up in the middle of the night, I need to go someplace just
to get out of the house. I frequently stop at 7-11 (where you got my DP fix,
Deri), to get coffee and visit with the night shift, then drive to DC. I
drive down Constitution Ave, which is so pretty in the middle of the night.
All you see are the monuments, many of which are illuminated, and there is
virtually no traffic -- only the occasional car. That part of the city is
beautiful in the middle of the night.

I'm a little bummed that I will not be able to do that anymore because of
security changes, but that's okay, I understand.

Man, I digressed again! Slap me...quick!
