On another forum a lady who has CP has been wearing metal/leather KAFO's
for the past 34 years to prevent contractures ( been successful apparently)
She was wondering if anyone had information about the new carbon graphite
composite KAFO's. She would like to know if they are really more
lightweight, durable, strong and comfortable as what she wears now. She is
familar with the thermoplastic KAFO's but feels with the steel supports are
just as heavy plus hotter than what she wears now. Do any of you have any
experience with the carbon graphite KAFO's?
Joanne
