You know that pigs are used to study many human maladies. Ie: alcoholism.

Mag, I can tell you what makes me sick is visiting a hog farm, and I don't
mean one of those huge mechanised ones, but the ones small farmers in Down
East NC have. My best friend from college took me to visit a hog farmer down
the road from her once, and being a city slicker and not used to the stench,
I got pretty sick. Fortunately for my pride, I didn't lose my lunch then
and there, but I came pretty close. She told me they're all like that.

Now, I don't mind being around horses and er, the manure they produce; I
used to muck out the stables when I was in the riding club at my college (we
members rotated the duties), and enjoy it, tossing out the old straw and
heaving in nice, clean new straw into the stalls. But er, horses and hogs
sure don't smell the same!

Kat
