OMG!!!!!!!!!!!! I didn't know this, have squished cockies and left
them under a weighted glass till morning and the little buggers got
out from under the glass!!!!!!!!!! ARRRRRRRGGGGG!!!!!!!!!! I
really, really, really hate them. Never saw ANY till I moved to
Australia. With the weather and often living close to the water in
old housing - hey, cockroach city.....

All this has really grossed me out, but thanks for clearing up the
mystery, Mag. Although now I'm gonna have nightmares!

When it comes to cockroaches I have no conpunction about squashing them to
bits so they can't grow a head back on! This is true! I saw this on either
PBS or animal planet. ants too ... did you realize that ants come and carry
their dead away? I didn't until I had to kill massive numbers of them. I
would come out in the mornings and find that the dead had disappeared.
