actually the on;y aniety attack i has in my life was caused by bacufin, some
people do well with it, but, not me. i am taking zanaflex which works well
with spasifity in my upper body, but puts others to sleep. only thing to
work for me in all the years.
my only advice would be to not hesitate to be blunt with your dr. in
telling him if you have adverse effects or what he is giving you is just not
working.

Hi all. In my search for info on CP I happened across this list & subbed.
I'm male, mid 40's, good lookin'....LOL w. spaticity that mainly affects my
arms. In recent times I've had soft tissue damage in L shoulder & its gone
berserk... gross movement I don't usually regularly experience.

I saw a specialist, had an MRI & he's suggesting medication to reduce the
movement so the inflamation can heal. I have no idea of the brand names of
the drugs he's thinking of but I'm wondering if any of you have been in
similar situations & found drug treatment effective. My interaction w.
medico's & disability services ceased 30 yrs ago so I'm a bit in the dark on
advances since then.

Also wonder if anxiety conditions are common amongst people w. CP. I've been
reading some of your posts & found they resonate... concerns re medical
treatment & practitioners, difficults days & situations etc...

thanks

Kieran
