Greta,

When I went to see my neurologist yesterday (who's also on the state drug
utilization review board), I asked him about the botox use in kids issue.
He said that the kids that died were getting more than 1500 units of botox
at a time, and it was "spilling over" into their circulatory systems,
causing botulism poisoning and death. He only treats adults, and says he
never goes above 300 units.

I'm presently getting 100 units (total) in my neck and shoulders.

He said the FDA will likely do a "black box warning" on botox (not sure if
the warning will just apply to kids, or all of us).

I'm curious how much botox others on the list are getting.

Kendall

An unreasonable man (but my wife says that's redundant!)

The reasonable man adapts himself to the world; the unreasonable one
persists in trying to adapt the world to himself. Therefore, all progress
depends on the unreasonable man.
