This is what I hear so often, but I don't know where to look for a private
therapist to hire to work with somebody on a regular or just a consultative
basis. All the therapists I know either work for the school or hospital,
which usually don't like to moonlight. Is there usually a listing of all
the registered therapists living in the area? Do they usually promote their
services, if so how?

Thanks,
Anthony

Yes, hire an outside OT to evaluate him. It's never too early to begin.
