Inger,
My son Zach is 25 with spastic diplegia C. P.  When he went on medicine for
depression 3 1/2 weeks ago, they mentioned the possibility of his muscles
tightening up. They prescribed Benztropine  which is the generic for
Cogentin, 1 mg. once a day at bedtime, if needed.

We did not need it, so I cannot tell you if it works or not, but it is
probably worth looking into.
