Five times as many Louis Sullivan buildings as ever existed in New York (State).
And I believe more FLWright buildings too.
(Definitely, if you exclude Buffalo from NY State.)
Not to mention the rest of the Prairie School.

I don't mean to equate the Prairie School
with American building, but those just came to mind quickest.

As for the Chicago convention, I live a bus ride from the site,
but am too cheap to register.  Is it true that one can
get a free pass if all one wants to do is visit the exhibits.
and possibly hobnob with out-of-town pinheads?

Or would pinheads enjoy a lunch at a beautiful 1893
club dining room overlooking the park?
