This sort of thing seems to be reaching epidemic proportions.  I read in
today's Brattleboro Reformer, the local rag, that a building crane fell in
Miami, FL yesterday.  From what I read it would appear to be a very similar
accident.  However, I know nothing about such things, I think the tallest
building anywhere in our county is MAYBE 10 stories tall.  The only reason
the town let them build such a tall building is because it is right next
door to the firehouse.  Yes, that's correct, THE firehouse.  Oh, excuse me,
they do have a sort of outpost firehouse in the west part of town because
the fire trucks can't cross the covered bridge that is the shortest route
to that part of town.  Ruth
