Ruth,

I always thought Long Island was a terrible place that only obnoxious
girls came from.
But since I have lived here for a while I now see it as a very complex
and dynamic place with a whole lot of social and environmental layers.
The vegetable market that I go to the family dates back to the area
pre-revolution. I go there as much to interact w/ them as get good food.
