I work at an environmental non-profit now, and in the last 5 years we 
have gone from being "the dirty solar hippies working in that log house 
down in the woods," to vaunted energy experts, sitting on blue ribbon 
panels and testifying for the Governor's Energy Commission at state 
legislature sessions.

It's gotten so there's a moratorium on the use of the word "green" in 
our office. Every time I hear it I get nauseated.
