Could this scope be a reflection of the decline in enrollment of Trinity
graduates in Ivy-League schools? My wife, a Trinity alum, went to Oberlin;
my brother, not a Trinity alum (public schools), is making a game of
attending every Ivy (and equals). Concurrently enrolled at Stanford and
Berkeley. Could be the ties kids wear at prep school are cutting off
circulation to their grey matter.

Subject: Ivy on buildings ... is it poison?

Landmarks filing 5/19/99:

"Trinity School, 121 West 91st: $50,000
Cut and repoint all mortars joints; remove vine and plant growth."

Is ivy really the universal threat it is reported to be? Or is that just
cant?
