Brian,

LOL, you do realize that I spent a major portion of my childhood
following a highly inspired Methodist lay minister around, in the form
of a Grandfather, right?
One of our last conversations was that he told me that I ask too many
questions. I am still waiting for his interpretation of Revelations to
be revealed.

God does communicate with me personally. It keeps telling me to get off
my ass and get to work. It also tells me that I don't have a clue what
is going on.

Heard a comment to the effect of Al Queda & Islamic sects in general
that mostly their education is on a level that we would consider
illiteracy. The portion of the Koran that they know was fed to them in a
very limited manner in order to bolster their fight against the Soviets.
Who did that education? Likewise, Christian fundamentalists seem to
operate on less than a full tank. Another comment that the KKK always
had a chaplain on board.

Those around me who are not curious, leastways not even interesting in
their curiosity, I tend to leave behind. I am not sure if that is a good
thing on my part or a bad one.

I contend that intelligence is the ability to not extinct oneself.
Curiosity is an important element of survival but what if one survives
without it?

Catch the movie Idiocracy... it will make you smile.
