We have an excellent book around here somewhere titled "The Way Things
Work."  I bought it for one of my boys when they were younger.  If you
don't already have it see if your local library has.  Ruth

PS:  Isn't New Haven where Yale is?  There must be at least SOME men of
wisdom at that venerable institution.
