Me, I just tumble out of bed, stumble down the hall of my nineteenth century
intown domicile,
and five seconds later I am walking in the door of my home office. No pickup
trucks required. (Though I do have one. In Maine you have to have a pickup,
even if you don't have to have one. Some duct tape on the salt-rust holes is
as mandatory as the licence plate.)
