We have been asked to reglaze sash that previously had glass bedded in clear
silicon sealant. Obviously, using anything other than silicon as a bedding
becomes a problem. Question, does anyone know how to remove residual
silicon from a paint surface short of stripping the paint surface and
returning to a fresh substrate?
