HC,

Yes, electronics are now all functioning again. My son came home this weekend
and  discovered that I had left the Nintendo on since the Pignic. So who
knew? I obviously couldn't even work "main module," much less the
peripherals!

My solution to electonic dysfunction: close the cupboard door and try it
again a few weeks later -- in hopes that it will have magically "healed
itself." Look, how can you argue with success?
