So I find out today that a Polish friend of ours in Poland is working on
his conservation doctorate with a thesis in restoration of historic
sounds. Clop of the horse hooves on cobbles and turn of the cart wheel
sort of stuff. Ambient environmental preservation takes the concept of
conserving the built environment a step further. The one thing I regret
from the recent trip to Poland was that I did NOT have sound equipment
with me. The sounds of Poland are amazing.
