Just listened in on an interesting story-
An Engineer w/ whom we are working tells the story of how-
After switching over to gas @ his boiler-
his chimney suffered a catastrophic failure-
Evidently gas burns @ a lower temp then oil does and also water vapor is
a by product of the burning..
consequently had the water vapor condensing @ the walls of the flue with
the interaction of the sulfur this became acid & caused the failure...
