So, Cuyler and I had lunch and coffee yesterday - got to see some piccies of the Grist Mill. Really nice work. For anyone who gets the chance, y'all gotta meet him. He's a pretty cool dude!

Darn it is a small world. My father was from Phelps and we spent old
fashioned Christmas days at my grandparent's farm where I learned how to
open beehives. Grand Father Page was very big in the Town in his day and
when he died, his wife, Lena, was appointed to fill out his term instead of
having an election. I think she was the first woman Town councillor.
Ah, NYS politics.

Your mention of Phelps brought back nice memories. Thanks Pam.

I will try calling to see if we can get together for a chat.

That would be me! Sitting in the basement of the Booth building on the RIT campus, wishing I coulda stayed home in Phelps. Ready for the Sauerkruat Festival, which starts this evening. Our new town theme is "Red, White, and Blue, and Sauerkraut, too!" I wrote on my ballot that if this one won I'd be moving out. Guess I better start packing.

BTW, I'm checking out the search engine. Organized a bit like Northern Light used to be (I think they went belly up a couple years back).

PS - I appreciate the new tag line, especially since I'm working on learning tortilla making for our Cub Scout Resident camp in a couple of weeks. I'll be teaching these young whipper snappers that they can do better than Yak-o Bell anyday of the week. Of course, I'll stick with the vegan variety for them - cheaper for the food suplier (me). Kitty meat might be a bit much for them.

Cuyler,

I'm about as far East as anyone around here wants to go in NY... If you are in Rochester try Pam Stevenson at RIT. [log in to unmask]
