Brian, I'm WAAAAAAAAY too old, I'd never survive a three day toot like
that!!!!! Are you still at the Shaker Village in NY? If so how long will
you be there? I'd like to come over one day and meet with you, when would

Closing night of Swan Lake at the Met (I wept like a baby) , Opening night
of Cinderella at the Met ( noticed some bad leaks on the ceiling) , The
Shaker Room at the MMA (not so great), John Singer Sargent work at the MMA
(always great), Arthur's Tavern in the Village until 3am (loved it, great
band), Boa in Alphabet City until another 3am (snake skin decor is tres
cool), Central Park (hung over..took a nap on the great lawn), Amsterdam
Ave resturants, Conservation lab at Columbia where I spent a few hours with
Norman Weiss (great guy with endless enthusiasm), came to have a deep
appreciation for french press coffee at Brasserie La Halles ...
Stopped by Rosendale and the Widow Jane mine on my way back to Mt.
Lebanon. Learned a lot about natural cement. The mine was amazing,
especially the reflection of the ceiling or the caves in the water .
I drank too much and I am broke, but it was a hell of a three days. NYC is
the greatest city in the world.
I love my country. Happy Fourth
