Carl Sandburg also wrote a biography of Abe Lincoln.

At the reception after the funeral for my great-aunt Gertrude, held in her
vast apartment on E. Lake Shore Drive in Chicago (this was in the early
1980s), apparently someone just grabbed a guest book out of the closet and
plopped it by the table by the door.  The last entries in the book before
the blank pages were from 1955.  One was from Carl Sandburg, complete with
some sweet comments about my relatives.
