Original paint analysis has been "lost".  Now that the discrepancy between
the original photo and the analysis has been noticed [by the insightful and
debonair yours-truly], a re-think in progress.   The paint first appears in
turn of the century photos; it appears there is a cementitous coating between
the paint and the original brick.
