Chris ;if your looking for the coal miners daughter you have to come further
south;
the poverty of WV doesn't hold a candle to the Delta;
and whatsamadder ya can't find bad neighborhoods in the Bronx
try St. Anns ave if you want to slum it
 I worked on Guvernor Morris tomb there (.for those who don't know Guvernor
used to own most of the Bronx as a plantation and quite naturally he was a
signature of the Declaration.) buried at St. Anns he was in a jumble of other
family bones in a Scottish tummuli (earth mound) surrounded by 150 yr old trees
and squatters shooting up ; it was ok working there until the drums went
quiet......and don't phoo pah Greenbriar it was used as the Japanese interment camp
for the two yo-yos who were talking peace to Roosevelt and Hull on Dec 6;
1941 the beds ain't the same but try the horse trails)
but ok ok if you want poor whites in WV make the trip to Harrisburg; the
little rivertowns on and before it should meet your expectations;plus they have
some great Juke joints..... Happy New Year an y'all come down some time its
60deg today...Py
