I will check this out... and yes I do not expect you to share formula.

What I am looking for though is the expanding mortar used in quarries to 
bust rock apart. It goes to a comment I made at a brownstone conference 
re: my wanting to try some of it on masonry repointing. Still looking 
for it. Would prefer to buy a bucket than to have to try to figure out 
how to home mix. I am sure it is out there... I am also wondering how 
inept I can be in looking for it.

If I make enough noise about it possibly someone will write up a paper 
for the APT Bulletin suggesting using it in curtain wall restoration... 
it was some time back I peer reviewed a paper on the use of lime putty 
mortars on curtain walls... still wondering how they got their adhesion 
to the glass.
