What is NOT stated is:  How many were native Vermonters who grew up cutting
trees on their own land to heat their own homes AND how many were "weekend
warriors" from down country who had the money to buy property, a tractor, a
chainsaw and saw Farmer Brown and his Boy cutting trees and said, "That
looks easy enough, after all I have a degree in XYZ, they don't even have a
HS education and they can do it, so can I."  Believe me, it happens!  Ruth
