I heard on the radio today an Irish gentleman who's mother had come to the
US shortly before the Titanic. Her betrothed was to come over, but declined
after the Titanic sank. However, he didn't have a problem suggesting that
she return to Ireland to be married. She obviously didn't have a problem
with ships.

No doubt wonder what the impact of Titanic was on the transportation
industry. Would this have boosted air flight? Wonder about the survivors,
and how their lives turned out.

Thanks for sharing Christopher.
